I recently bought an apple MacbookPro. I hooked it to the Samsung 215TW monitor and the fonts looked ugly.
The fonts were not sharp at all. They appeared a bit hazy.
After trying to fix it in various ways, a friend sent me this link. After I set the Samsung as the primary monitor, everything is way better.
The fonts are much clearer. Go figure.
