Happy new year!
I am back after a long hiatus. I haven't been taking much photos, so I did what a true gearhead would do. I bought a new camera 
. A nikon D80.
Getting used to the camera, but I am pleasantly surprised how the camera meters, this scene for instance. I haven't used a camera yet which meters correctly in strong back lit conditions such as these one in the “automatic” modes. The D80 consistently delivered against strong back light! Seems like a fun toy.
